Restart is a guidebook to help small businesses shift their paradigm from simply surviving to thriving during times of chaos, like a pandemic. Scores of small business owners that were interviewed talked about selling their businesses, closing down, putting employees on furlough, reducing employee benefits, cutting customer service hours, or minimizing their marketing budgets. But, there was one group of businesses that chose a different path. These business owners had a completely different mindset. They chose “Thriving”(driving growth through innovative methods) over “Surviving”(cutting costs) or “Diving” (selling or closing their business).
Restart provides small business owners a practical, step-by-step guide to THRIVE. To think like an entrepreneur, reassessing your business model, talking with your customers, looking at new products and services, new branding, selecting the most impactful small business software, implementing new Ecommerce efforts, maximizing your cash flow, legally protecting your IP (intellectual property), building the ultimate team and more.
Restart contains interviews and insights from some of the most innovative leaders and organizations in the country, including The Small Business Development Center; SCORE; the Chief Business Development Officer from Invest Puerto Rico; the Director of Ecommerce and Merchandising from Levi Strauss and Company; the CEO of VJS Construction; the CEO of Prescient Wealth Management; the former owner of the Milwaukee Wave; and the CEO of Bolt, one of the fastest-growing Financial Technology firms of all time.
Restart is published by Startup Guides and will be available on Amazon on June 8th in paperback and eBook. The eBook is available for pre-order now.
